(73.) Suzanne CAYOUETTE (daughter of François CAILLOUETTE and Catherine TARDIF) on 10 Jan 1814 in Kamouraska, Québec. (1) (In Kamouraska "Répertoire" name is spelled "Tardie".) Suzanne CAYOUETTE died before Nov 1833.

Antoine TARDIF and Suzanne CAYOUETTE had the following children:

child2 i. Cyprien TARDIF was born in 1814. He was married to Marie CORMIER on 30 Sep 1839 at New Richmond (Bonaventure Co., Gaspé).
child3 ii. Emilie TARDIF was born in 1816. She was married to Joseph Lagacé (son of Jean-Baptiste Lagacé and Marie-Anne CORBIN; widower of Priscille Gagnon) at St-Pascal, Kamouraska, on 17 Jan 1843. They appear in the 1850 US census in Madawaska Plantation (p.154b), as Joseph and Milia Legassee. They appear in the 1860 US census, in Twp.18, R.5 (p.519), as Joseph and Millie Legasse.

child5 iv. François-Xavier TARDIF was born in 1820.
child6 v. Antoine TARDIF was born in 1822. He died in 1822.

Antoine TARDIF was married to Julie LABBÉ on 12 Nov 1833 in St-Pascal, Kamouraska, Québec. (2)

Sometime before Sep 1845 Antoine and Julie moved from Kamouraska to the area that is now Frenchville.  Antoine TARDIF died on 13 Feb 1856 at Frenchville, "aged 66" according to the church register, and was buried the following day at Ste Luce cemetery, Township 18, Range 5 (Frenchville), Aroostook Co., Maine.
