28. Francis (Richard) JALBERT was born in Mar 1869 in Maine. He appeared on the census in 1880 in St. John Plantation, Aroostook, Maine.⁽¹²⁴⁾ Listed as Francis Gilbert, age 11, living in parents' household (Francis and Olive Gilbert). He appeared on the census in 1900 in St. John Plantation, Aroostook, Maine.⁽¹²⁵⁾ Listed as Richard Gilbert, born Mar 1869, logdriver, living in parents' household (Frank and Olive Gilbert). This Richard is certainly the same person as the Francis listed in the 1880 census; their ages are the same, and since his name was same as his father's it's likely he went by another name, middle perhaps. He died in 1918. He was a logdriver in 1900.⁽¹²⁶⁾

He was married to Olive MICHAUD (daughter of Ubald MICHAUD and Joséphine AUDIBERT) on 26 Jun 1906 in St-Hilaire, New Brunswick. ⁽¹²⁷⁾ Francis (Richard) JALBERT and Olive MICHAUD had the following children:
