Marie-Salomée JALBERT was born on 9 Dec 1835 in Rivière-du-Loup, Québec. ⁽¹⁷⁾ She was baptized on 12 Dec 1835 in St-Patrice Church, Rivière-du-Loup, Québec.⁽¹³⁶⁾ Her godparents were Alexis Ouellette and Julie Dubé. She died on 27 Nov 1912 and is buried in the old St.Louis cemetery in Fort Kent, Maine.

She was married to Honoré BOSSÉ (son of François BOSSÉ and Marie THIBEAULT) on 9 Jan 1855 in Ste-Luce Church, Frenchville, Maine. ⁽¹³⁷⁾ Witnesses were Mathieu Bouley and Edward Jalbert.

They appear in the 1860 US census living in Township 17, Range 8, next door to Salomée's parents. They are listed as Henry Bosse, age 26, laborer, born in Canada, could not read or write, with real estae worth $150 and a personal estate worth $100, living with Selima Bosse, age 21, born in Canada, could not read and write; and children Baptiste (age 5), Mary (4), Joseph (3) and Magdaline (3 months), all born in Maine.

Honoré BOSSÉ died on 26 Jun 1913 and is buried in the old St.Louis cemetery in Fort Kent.

They had the following children:

  i. Jean-Baptiste BOSSÉ was born on 26 Feb 1856 and was baptized five days later, on 2 Mar 1856 at Ste.Luce Church. His godfather was his grandfather Edouard Jalbert and his godmother was Rosalie Pelletier.
  ii. Lucie BOSSÉ was born 25 May 1857. She was baptized on 7 Jun at Ste Luce Church. Her godfather was Antoine Daigle, her godmother was her grandmother Lucie Vaillancourt.
  iii. Joseph BOSSÉ was born on 3 Jul 1858, and baptized on 8 Aug 1858 at Ste-Luce Church. His godfather was Florent Jalbert, his godmother was Henriette Bouchard.
  iv. Madeleine BOSSÉ was born about March 1860.
   v. Salomée BOSSÉ was born in Nov 1861. She was married to François CORBIN (son of François-Xavier CORBIN and Suzanne ALBERT) on 27 Aug 1877 at St Louis Church, Fort Kent (source: website of Ken Roy)
