She appeared on the 1850 US census in Madawaska Plantation, Maine, as Judie Gorme, 4 years old, born in Maine, living with parents Anthony and Ortan.⁽²⁹⁾ She appeared on the 1860 US census in Township 18, Range 5, Aroostook, Maine, as age 14, living with parents Antoine and Ortans Gagnon.⁽³⁰⁾

She appeared on the 1880 US census in Frenchville, Maine, as Julia Gagnon, age 32, "at home", could read and write, born in Maine, living with parents Antoine and Artence.⁽³¹⁾ 

She was married to Achille PELLETIER (son of Achille and Suzanne MICHAUD) on 25 Aug 1895 at Ste-Luce Church, Frenchville, Maine, at the age of 51, two years after the death of her mother Hortense.

Julie GAGNON died in 1915, according to her gravestone in the Ste-Luce Church cemetery in Frenchville.
